Exciting opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Assistant Nursery Manager to manage and develop the first professional fruit tree nursery in the Mekong Delta. This role is critical in ensuring that our farmers receive healthy, high-quality seedlings that are productive and disease-free.

The main responsibilities of this position are:
· Assist in managing the nursery to produce high-quality seedlings for citrus and other tropical fruits.
· Implement best practices for nursery management, including propagation techniques and pest/disease control.
· Manage irrigation and nutrient programs for greenhouse and shade-house plants.
· Develop and maintain systems for quality assurance and seedling traceability.
· Monitor nursery performance and maintain accurate records for reporting and continuous improvement.
· Train and supervise nursery staff to ensure adherence to international standards and company protocols.
· Test and screen new citrus varieties and rootstocks.
· Provide after-sales technical support to farmers regarding seedling care and orchard establishment.

Qualifications and Skills
You combine a good education, such as a BSc or MSc degree in agronomy or horticulture, with work experience in a fruit tree nursery. Our dream candidate is a son or a daughter of a fruit nursery owner, who always loved working in the family nursery, studied at an agriculture university, and has his/her first five years of work experience in the seedling sector. Qualifications and skills
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in working and supervising a fruit tree nursery
· BSc or MSc degree in horticulture, agronomy, or a related field.
· Professional proficiency in English
· Practical knowledge of propagation techniques, pest and disease management, irrigation and fertigation
· Strong planning and organizational skills
· Hardworking, hands-on approach
· Ability to train and develop nursery staff effectively.
