Demo Farm Supervisor Assistant
Location: Based in Demo Farms, Ben Luc (main) and Tra Vinh(outdoor position)
Working time: Monday to Friday.
Salary: Negotiate
Principal functions and responsibilities
1. Translation & Communication
· Provide on-the-spot translation (Vietnamese ↔ English) for Demo Farm Supervisor during daily farm operations, farmer meetings, and staff training.
· Translate documents, training materials, and operational notes accurately and promptly.
· Ensure clear communication between Demo Farm Supervisor, farm workers, agronomists, and management.
2. Documentation & Administrative Support
· Assist with drafting, editing, and filing reports, SOPs, and farm records.
· Support data collection on demo farms (e.g., fertilizer applications, spray records, yield monitoring).
· Maintain organized records of training sessions, farm trials, and farmer feedback.
· Support preparation of presentations, reports, and meeting notes for internal and external stakeholders.
3. Field Support
· Work alongside the Demo Farm Supervisor on demo farms during daily activities, trials, and demonstrations.
· Support logistics (tools, materials, farmer attendance) during training or farm visits.
· Help monitor compliance with recommended protocols (fertilizer, irrigation, pest management).
· Be available to step in with practical support when Demo Farm Supervisor is occupied (e.g., liaising with workers, recording data)..
Desired qualifications:
1. Qualifications & Skills
- Strong English and Vietnamese language proficiency (oral and written).
- Proven ability to translate technical/agronomic language clearly.
- Good administrative and computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Background Agriculture is an advantage
2. Personal Attributes
- Willingness to work outdoors on farms daily.
- Flexible, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- High integrity and professionalism when dealing with farmers and staff.
- Ready for travel in Demo farm Long An, Tra Vinh, Binh Duong
