After the successful trade fair event last week in Hong Kong The Fruit Republic donated its fruit and vegetables to Feeding Hong Kong.
Feeding Hong Kong is the only food bank in Hong Kong dedicated to redistributing surplus food to people in need. By providing a bridge between the food industry and the hungry of Hong Kong, we provide a solution that simultaneously cuts food waste and feeds those most in need.
According to Feeding Hong Kong a lot of high quality fresh produce was received from exhibitors at the Asia Fruit Logistica that fully filled 1 truck and 3 vehicles. The beneficiaries of its charity partners were very blessed by the fresh fruit and vegetables.
