HCMC-Hanoi ranks 7th among world's busiest air routes

In the top ten of busiest airline routes in the world, only Asian routes are present. The 7th busiest route in the world with well over 4 million passengers per year, is the route between HCMC and Hanoi. 

With up to 700 daily flights per year, this route accounts for 35% of all airline traffic in Vietnam. As a result of the rapid growth of air traffic in Vietnam in general, Tan Son Nhat airport of HCMC is now serving 31 million passengers per year.
